The brainiac leader looks at her best friend with hesitance, she isn’t sure how to talk to the other about why she’s been disappearing, why there are bruises in random places on her body, why she smells alcohol. In all honesty Nari doesn’t want to explain, it’s too difficult & it hurts too much. Having not seen Xiaolu in what feels like forever, Nari sits across from the girl and pulls a tight smile, gripping her coffee for dear life. “So, how’ve you been? It feels like forever since we last talked....”
