So you remember how in one of Xiao’s birthday letters, he gives us some crystal fly cores and said “I thought they’d look pretty in your hair”?

Well in China, iirc, hairpins are a romantic gesture, or at least a promise of commitment.

And Xiao gave these crystals to the Traveler with the intention of decorating their hair…👀
