Laura Bonthuis from Apeldoorn in the Netherlands has won a bronze medal at the EWUF (European Wu Shu Federation) European Championships for traditional Chinese martial arts. Laura Bonthuis uit Nederland won in 2019 een bronzen medaille op de Europese kampioenschappen voor Traditionele Chinese vechtsporten zoals Shaolin Kung Fu en Tai Chi Chuan.

Laura Bonthuis also was a full contact kickboxing practitioner under sensei Wim Scharrenberg. Eventually she started training in Chinese martial arts at the Shaolin He Yong Gan martial arts school in Apeldoorn city in the Netherlands. Laura Bonthuis did Shaolin Kung Fu, Chen style Tai Chi Chuan, Full Sanda, Sanshou and many other aspects of the Chinese martial arts.
