baking textures with a cage.

when you bake high to low, you’ll occasionally get those weird artifacts on the outside (the mesh peeking through).  you can use a cage to control all of that.

in substance painter, you can do it automatically (it’s a tick option when you bake vs this manual approach).

edit: my bad! you have to create a cage file with substance as well!
