House of the Dead
Hidden in the outskirts of Beacon Hills, nestled deep in the forest outside town is an abandoned psychiatric hospital. Built before Eichen House, a full two centuries before to be exact. The building's name was lost to time when it was left to rot over a century ago. Now it has taken up the names Domus Mortorum, Maison Des Morts, Casa De Los Muertos, or more commonly known by the young population of town as House of the Dead.
Scott was paired up with Jason Rodway, a fellow student in his Film Studies Class. It wasn't a class he had wanted, it didn't fit with his veterinarian career path. But it was an easy hand full of credits, so what college student could complain? Besides if Scott had to be honest his partner Jason, was hot. The wolf couldn't help but steal little lustful stares his way every chance he got on the drive through the woods.
The project was to film something along the lines of a documentary. Scott had heard about this place when he was growing up. It was perfect, what with the tales of doctors massacring their patients. Acts of devil worship and the darkest of arts being performed with their sacrifice.
The boys decided to check the place out before they started filming. Stepping out of Jason's car, Scott carried with him a small single strap bag he had across his chest. Filled with a couple of flashlights, batteries and glow sticks to light there way once inside. The forest had reclaimed the land, but left the building itself untouched, except for the ravages of an even more powerful foe, time. The paint had peeled from the exterior turning a blood red with rust and mold, chucks of the building laid in piles of rubble. Jagged pieces of glass stuck out of window frames like broken teeth.
"So...are you sure you want to do this?" Scott inquired. His voice shaky as he shoved his hands into his pockets pushing his shoulders up to his ears. "This place gives me the creeps and I'm a...fan of all this stuff." He turned his Jason, his eyes once again looking the man over while he licked his lips. "We could be walking into the very gates of hell. According to the stories."
