Layla smoothed out the dress as she walked down the hallway. Her shoes made a soft sound with each step she took. She made sure she kept her head down and followed the guards who were leading her to her new chambers. She had just become an official maid after having an audience with Kouen.
She took a deep breath and dared to look up, catching the gaze of the oracle, her ice blue eyes meeting red. Quickly, she looked away.

Or maybe the other magi went on a diet and is eating as much as he could before he went back on it. ...Most likely the first thought, the latter must’ve been a misconception.
