CHRISTMAS, WHAT ELSE? #1. Love this old album, which you can see I’ve been learning how to use a turntable on since before I should probably have been turned loose with the turntable. Note on the back the admonishment, “You don’t fool around with Christmas!” which they gleefully do. Highlight for me as a kid was “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” which is insane: starts out as a nice little klezmer band of toy horns and then things start to happen.
