lover,

today it's christmas in iceland. the big day is the 24th. presents, dinner (reindeer) and all that. we also have a thing called the almond pudding where my mom makes some sort of yoghurt-peach pudding and puts an almond in it. the one who gets it gets a present. which is somehow way more exciting than all the other presents you get 15 minutes later. yes, presents after dinner. to me, christmas in iceland is one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful things in the world. and we don't even have snow. 

past few days have been a fuzz of hugs and saying the same things and being happy and overwhelmed and craving a bit of alone time and a soar throat, so i sound like an 80 year old man. in general, i'm happy. got a bit of a love confession two days back from a young fanboy. it was sweet and awkward.
