((hope this makes you feel better dude!)) Nowaki changed the channel on the TV again, he had already seen the episode of the show on screen. He yawned as he leaned against the comfortable couch and relaxed. The door opened and was shut with so much force that the small picture by the entrance fell. Nowaki got up, walked toward the door, and saw Hiroki yanking off his tie. Anger clear on his face as he kicked off his shoes and dumped his suitcase by the shoe rack. Hiroki didn't notice Nowaki standing a few feet away, the ongoing swearing and irritation blocked his sense. Nowaki stood by in silence, letting Hiroki blow off any initial steam was best. Anyone that was angry wouldn't want to talked to so early on before they calmed down. He saw Hiroki let out an exasperated sigh, he slowly chilled out. Nowaki walked closer to him but kept a safe distance, he'd have Hiroki figure out for himself that he was around. Hiroki knew he was going to take a long bath and sleep it all off. Damn Akihiko's novels, his so-called friend still made those vulgar books about him and he wasn't even sorry about it. There was no apologetic gesture or even a "Okay I'll stop writing them because you are my friend and I can tell you are embarrassed by them." This was the 10th time, maybe even more, he had openly expressed his distaste but it was as if Akihiko tuned him out. He was sure the author had perfected the art of selective hearing. Half the time when it came to the topic of the Junai Egoist books, Akihiko would change the subject onto something else. The author was getting richer over his misery. Yet he was still friends with him after all of that. Hiroki rubbed his forehead as he noticed someone in front if him. He didn't need to react, knowing full well who he was and remembering that his lover had the day off. "Hey." Hiroki said, slowly looking up and saw Nowaki staring at him with a reassuring smile. "Hello," Nowaki told him as he asked. "Are you alright?" Hiroki nodded his head. "I'm fine. Just a little irritated at someone, nothing for you to worry about." Nowaki wrapped his arms around him, he motioned to the right side of Hiroki. "Hiro-san you slammed the door so hard that the frame your mother gave us fell down." Hiroki turned to his right and indeed the glass on the picture was cracked in a few places but not broken. It was pretty much insignificant, he kept it to appease his mother. "..it was bound to break sometime, she'll probably forget she gave it to me." "What if she doesn't?" "She will, the excitement of a newer gift will have her forgetting." Hiroki told Nowaki as he left his embrace and went to the bathroom. "I'm going to bathe, put the kettle on Nowaki." "Sure, I was about to do that right now. Want me to wash your back for you?" Nowaki asked. "No thanks, I'm going to soak all of this off my mind." Hiroki answered as he shut the four behind him. A moment later, the water began pouring out onto the tub. Shuffling of clothing came next, then splashing of water. Hiroki always mixed in soap, no matter what scent it would go in there. Nowaki set everything on the stove and went to the bathroom. He gently knocked the door and waited for Hiroki to answer. "Yes?" "Are you positive you don't want me scrubbing your back? You know you can talk to me about what happened. I don't know how much I can help but I will listen." There was silence until Hiroki said. "Fine." Nowaki opened the door and smelled the scent of apples. The previous time it was coconut. Hiroki sat in the bathtub with bubbles surrounding him in every direction. He turned off the water and he dunked himself underwater to get his hair wet. He scooted away from the corner, giving Nowaki room to wash his back. Nowaki grabbed the wet towel on the side of the tub. Dipping it into the water to get some bubbles, he slid it across Hiroki's back and began doing circular motions. Hiroki rubbed his forearms as he unconsciously leaned slightly against Nowaki. The doctor kissed his shoulder before his hands massaged the tense muscles underneath. A small smile was on Hiroki's face, each time Nowaki applied pressure on a spot riddled with tension, his irritation melted away. Nowaki noticed that Hiroki was much more serene as he continued rubbing the shoulders and back. Hiroki massaged him athough not as frequently as he did to Hiroki. They took baths almost everyday together, that was a different story. Hiroki turned to him and told him. "Just so you know, Akihiko is still ruining our characters." "Characters?" Nowaki inquired as he stopped his movements. "Are they those books which are about us?" "Exactly. He made another one. Even after I told him not to, he just irritates me sometimes.." Nowaki said. "Well I'm sure Usami-san will stop and move onto something else eventually. He can't keep writing about us forever can't he?" "He will keep doing this until I stop being friends with him or I break up with you," Before Nowaki though the worst, Hiroki told him. "I know I won't do either one anyway." Nowaki resumed massaging Hiroki. "That's good to know. Are you feeling better now that you talked about it?" Hiroki though for a moment. "..I guess talking it out does help.. Thanks," "You're welcome." Nowaki said as the tea kettle whistled. "I'm going to go get that, don't stay in here too long." "I can stay here as long as I want or until I get pruny whichever one." Hiroki said as he leaned back against the tub and Nowaki blew him a kiss before hurrying to turn off the stove. Hiroki settled into the tub until only half of his face was visible. Already thinking of ways to stop the dreaded book series but then they went away from his mind as he closed his eyes. His mind at peace for the upcoming headache that will surely happen. ((hope you like it and tell me what you think!))
