Ice Cream
Minho made it a habit to visit the ice cream parlor at least once per week. Sometimes he would go twice if he could. He was so much of a regular that the owner already recognized him. In the past month they have gotten pretty close, Minho sometimes would act as an ice cream tester while the owner experimented on new flavors.
“Hey~ What do you want today? The regular cheesecake milkshake or are you feeling experimental?”
“I’m in the mood for strawberry today. I’m feeling a bit... peachy?” He giggled.
The day was beautiful, warm and breezy. Upon leaving the ice cream parlor he smiled and walked inside the nearby park. He observed the trees and the leafs how they danced along with the breeze. It was such a beautiful scenery in his eyes. It made him that more grateful he was able to see and walk and smell and taste and etc. As his mind became extremely grateful he walked next to a tree and leaned against it, his lips never leaving the straw.
“MMMmmm..” he hummed in delight.
Giving the straw a break he observed a stranger pass by. He looked neat and his shoes were very nice. As he was about to shoot a complimentary comment he immediately senses danger. From the corner of his eye he observed very slick movement on the tree. In an instant, without even turning to face the arachnid, his brain had already registered it. Panic quickly took over and he sprinted away from the tree, throwing sleeping spheres to the harry, eight-legged araneae while humming in a pitchy tone. Soon after he felt like there were millions of spiders out to get him and felt them crawling all over his body. Carelessly he bumped into the stranger form earlier and without thinking hugged him tight.
Minho’s body was very stiff and he was shaking. The hug was tight but not suffocating tight. His eyes were shut tight and his breath heavy.
“Please please please stay like this for just a moment.”
