It does. /smiles apologetically before shaking his head and running his hand over Chopper's fur./ And dressing nicely. But there will be food. /eventually moves off of the bed to pack his own bag./

{` snorts at the affirmation, facing the closet once more — it’s only when the mention of nice clothing registers in his mind that the smile falters a little and he frowns at the clothes gripped haphazardly in one of his hands } Hyung, I like the idea of food and all but — {` pokes at the clothes in reach, none of them even remotely resembling something you’d call nice } Uh, are jeans considered nice enough? Wait, why does this require dressing up?

/the other's grin makes him grin in return and he can't help how giddy he feels seeing his friend's reaction./ No occasion. /reluctantly lets Chanhee pull away and lets Chopper jump onto the bed and into his lap in his place./ Staying for a week or so. We're... going to something on the 29th. A... friend of mine is holding something.

{` drags the bag across the room, throwing it down as he sits on the floor in front of the closet } Does this something involve dealing with other people? {` looks over with a chuckle, lingering for a little longer at the mention of a friend — he doesn’t think he’s ever met any of minsoo’s other friends, and any mention of them sure sounded a little foreign }

/smiles slightly as he turns his head so he can see his friend's face; he's not sure if this will work out but whenever he looks at Sultan and the footstool's contents, he can't help but think of everything he hasn't told his best friend./ Musa.

{` the pleased expression he wore falls into mild surprise before morphing into something blank and then returning to hosting a bright smile all in a span of two blinks — quite a feat, really } Oh. {` he’s starting to sound like a broken record here. he shifts somewhat unwillingly off the bed and grabs for the bag shoved under there } What’s the occasion? How long are we staying?

/lefts his face rest against the back of his friend's shoulder and closes his eyes because this is much nicer he doesn't want to move./ We're going away. /sighs and hooks his chin over his shoulder, eyes opening slightly to glance at the mess of characters on the page./ Just us.

{` is already closing his books and putting things away even before the answer came } Oh. {` nods, using his feet to push the stack off to the foot of the bed, refusing to move any more than that } Oh. {` he can’t help the repetition as he’d assumed that byunghun would accompany them as always — but his lips still twitch into a smile, head turning slightly to the side } Where?

/he's not keen on this, he doesn't want to do this, but he's already promised that he would go and he guesses he kind of owes it to his mother as well and he guesses it's an easy way to show his thanks for his younger years as he carefully wraps the now dried canvas before slipping his arms around Chanhee to try and steal his attention from his homework./ Pack a bag. /speaks quietly, kissing the back of his shoulder, a new habit he had picked up and not really wanted to stop./

{` looks up from the page he’d previously been staring at, welcoming the distraction even if he had been contemplating a break in the next minute or so anyway } … {` thinks for a few seconds before asking anything, trying to remember if they’d had a plan set out around this time of the month, which… nope. he’s got nothing } What for?

/glances at his friend at the nudge to his shoulder then lets out a slow breath, letting his hand drop; instead reaches the arm around Chanhee and pulls him close in a one-arm hug and presses a kiss to the top of his head before pressing his face into his hair; closes his eyes and stays like that for a moment before forcing himself to pull away./ Get Joey to come here. Tell him we have food. /steps towards the bathroom so he can wash his face and calm himself down again./

{`rests his cheek comfortably against Minsoo’s shoulder as he’s pulled close, lifting an arm to place the phone up to his ear while the other hand stays low, lightly touching the hem of the other’s shirt } Okay. {` he grins at the idea, knowing that his younger best friend won’t be able to resist the temptation of food. he listens to the dull ringing of the phone from the other line, watching Minsoo walk off before settling himself back on the edge of the bed }

Not when I looked just before. /runs a hand through his hair as a way of trying to hide his worry and the fact that his hands were almost shaking at the mere thought of Chanhee having actually listened to the intercom and left and getting himself in danger and he knows his friend can look after himself but this is different./ Yeah. And we're staying here.

{` stays silent for a little while before shrugging, giving the window a last glance as he manages to hold down the need to know exactly what they’re dealing with — it’s most probable that he won’t see anything out there anyway. he pulls out his phone to call Byunghun } Alright. I’m not noble enough to go out there knowing practically nothing anyway. {` smiles a little, nudging Minsoo’s shoulder with his own — he can sense the tense atmosphere and would really like for it to ease up even just a little }

/pushes open the door of their dorm and his entire body relaxes when he finds Chanhee still there; he follows it with closing the door and locking it, the window following suit thanks to his power./ Where's Joey? /he's checked his friend's room but he wasn't there and he had been worried that Chanhee had left as well because--/ We're not leaving.

{` looks up when the door gives a slight creak in movement, standing from his spot on the bed to approach Minsoo } I don’t know. {` his eyes narrow as he throws a glance towards the window } Not in his room? {` runs a hand over the back of his head, gaze flickering between the door and the window alternately } There’s something seriously bad happening outside, huh? {` bad is probably an understatement }
