“Then kiss me, dummy! I’ve been waiting, duuuuuuh~!”
“Hey, what’s a waifu?”
"You big dummy dumb, Pochi! A waifu is like a girlfriend! But it's a special girlfriend that you wanna be with forever and ever and you gotta give them a special ring~! Why do you ask?"
“Stay with me, please.”
"Of course, Pochi!!" Kotoko gleamed and held onto Pochi tight. "I won't leave your side ever! I promise on my beautiful looks. As long as we are together, we can do anything and everything!" Kotoko giggled and squished his cheeks together. "And there is no one better to do everything and anything with but you, Pochi!" Kotoko gave Pochi a big smile and kissed his cheek.
“I did not know that! That’s helpful, thank you!”
❝Oh, no problem at all! Now remember that you cannot double jump in real life, okay?❞
“Do you think..” Tap tap, while he was playing his game, he began to speak up with the detective. Not making any eye contact whatsoever. But he of course spoke anyways while focusing on his game a little more.
“What kind of monsters are really out there, Detective Shuichi? Humans… Animals… Hybrids.. There really are a sort out there. But really, in your words. What makes a monster a monster?”
"Hm...?" Shuichi didn't mind that Pochi wasn't looking directly at him. He seemed very focused on his game, and he didn't want to unnecessarily make him have to look at him, since the young boy can clearly still talk while still playing his game.
"Ah: monsters...?" Shuichi really couldn't say he's seen literal monsters of any kind before, but he's seen his fair share of monsters in the figurative sense before. Which, at times: could still be just as terrifying... "Well..." He begins, closing his eyes in thought. "That's true... there really is a lot out there. Our world is a very big one, after all... full of many unknowns. Who knows what could be out there... things or people that very well may be scary like monsters."
At his second question, Shuichi opens his eyes to look at the boy once again. "What makes a monster a monster...? Ah, well: if you mean in the metaphorical sense... I mostly think of people. When someone is just... so ugly inside: a heartless person who doesn't care who they hurt, will do horrible things for their own gain without remorse. People like that, truly are monsters... maybe even moreso than actual monsters. That’s... what I believe, anyway.”

Chiaki sometimes needed to get away from the slightly stressful life at school, she loved her classmates but she was also pretty sure she’d end up with grey hair due to them. So when she needed to get away from that she’d go to the gaming cafe near the school, it was rather popular and mainly focused on family friendly games, which suited her just fine.
She was in a corner of the cafe, playing a hop-in multi player game, though right noe she was playing alone say for her small drink. It was enjoyable but a bit lonely without another player, which is when she noticed that someone had came over, seemly wanting to join in the game.
“Oh, hi I’m guessing you wanna join in?”
“I understand how you feel. Are you going to be okay?”
"It's really hard to be okay after everything I went through. I mean, do you even know who I am? What I gone through has made me have a deep hatred for adults. Even killing them isn't enough for me."
