The night sky will be peppered with little bits of comet debris in what is called the Perseid Meteor Shower. This year the Perseid’s will be visible between August 11-13. There will be up to 100 meteors per hour possibly visible for observers with clear, dark skies, according to NASA. The Perseid’s are bits of the comet Swift-Tuttle and often create the most amazing meteor shower of the year.
