The forty-one-year-old scientist Noah had screwed up big time while trying to fix a time watch he had been assigned to do and the awful thing wasn’t giving any clues of being better until the unlucky moment he fell asleep with it on hands and set it accidentally to rewind back to his twenties and now, besides having to study again and having to deal with the terrible sensation that he didn’t fit with his pears and the selective memory that only made him recall certain details, along the terrifying aid his mind offered, he felt like a girl on his class was one of the pieces to his safe return and he wouldn’t give up until he felt like she at least wouldn’t hate him without reason. (Meaning that the boy wanted her to like him back, but if bothering her to the point where she thinks he’s impossibly clingy, besides an apparent know it all brat, than she surely will have a reason).
“Do you use a pocket-watch as a necklace?
Because I can see my future near your heart.”
Noah re-read what he has scribbled on the small piece of paper he had torn from the last pages of his paper notebook, frowned at the words, before he decided to do a paper plane with it and before he would regret it, he sent it flying towards the female all while obviously keeping an eye on the teacher as well, because he wouldn’t want to be caught messing around when knowing how severe punishment within a military school could be.
He thought back to what he had written and sent, wondered if he was this out of touch with this type of thing and felt bad for his wife or should-be-wife-in-the-future for the realization that he had been focusing too much on work and should had given her more attention and love besides the usual smiles and conversations before sleep took a hold of him.
Once ripping another piece of paper as neatly as he could muster whilst also trying to be silent, the male with dyed blonde hair returned to nervously write and bit onto his lower lip, as he wondered if either one would do the trick.
“I am not as savvy as you assume, because I still didn’t discover a way to convince you to go on a date with me.
If you at least give me a small chance, I promise I’ll then give up.”
He sighed, not knowing if it was too risky of him to promise such a thing, but not knowing any other way, he again folded the paper and sent it her way in hopes that this time around he would be more lucky, seeing that the last times he had tried to communicate, things didn’t go so well.
