“I don’t think you understand.” Whoever this person is has complaints about things that make The Weeknd The Weeknd. We–his true fans from before he even got a feature on Drake’s album…before we knew who this man even was…people that love his voice so much we’ve downloaded music from back when Abel was part of a group–don’t expect or want to hear sweet love songs. I actually enjoyed his touches of love throughout the album. He did an amazing job at portraying the beauty behind the madness. I felt there was an awesome balance in both. Why listen to and review an artist if all you want is the same ol’ commercial mess already out there?! Then again, I believe Abel has the Midas touch. Having rocked with him from underground to being the number 1 artist in the country, I’m definitely "biased". I’m proud of this man like I’m his mom or best friend or someone beyond close to him! ☺️
