Influenster XO VoxBox Review!
The XO VoxBox from Influenster was truly amazing. I’m pretty in love. The box value was incredibly high, and the product quality was even higher. I’ll jump right into it. I received all these products to test and review courtesy of Influenster!
Adore Me: If you don’t know what Adore Me is, it’s sort of like JustFab but for lingerie. The VIP price for most things are $39.95 a month, but you have a choice from bra sets, corsets, lingerie, or some comfy pajamas! I received a code to get my first set for free! I chose to get a bra and panty set, as I was in need of a new bra. They carry plus sizes, which a lot of stores don’t. And my set arrived really quickly! The quality was good and both the bra and panty were incredibly comfortable. I left my VIP open and ordered a set in March. While the set was really pretty, it was a different fabric and cut, and did not fit as well as the previous month. I sent them back and before even receiving my return they emailed a code for a free set. I’m impressed by their products and their customer service.
Tide Pods plus Febreeze: I already used Tide Pods prior to these and I swear by them. They make laundry so much easier, and you definitely don’t have to buy detergent as often with them. I’ve been using the Tide Free Pods, but I’ll definitely be switching to these once I run out. These smell amazing, and the scent lasts sooo long. I washed my sheets before spring break, and they still smell amazing 2 weeks after washing them. IN LOVE.
Skinfix Hand Repair Cream: This was probably my least favorite product in the box. The hand repair cream really did work to relieve dry and cracked skin. My hands are so smooth since I started using it. However, I didn’t like how it smelled. I’m pretty sure it’s unscented and you can just smell whatever the ingredients are, and it’s not overwhelming or anything, but I just didn’t really love that. To me, I just didn’t like the texture. It left my hands feeling greasy. I keep using it on my feet at night instead because it won’t bother me that way. It’s still a good product, just not my favorite.
Colgate Optic White Toothbrush & Built-In Whitening Pen: Just perfect. This is a really good toothbrush. It leaves my teeth feeling super clean without irritating my gums (which I totally have a problem with a lot). And Can we talk about how the whitening pen fits in the bottom? Convenience added to perfection. The whitener doesn’t have a gross taste, and you don’t have to sit around and wait for it to dry or anything. Just put it on and go. And it actually made a difference, despite my coffee drinking. But with a toothbrush, obviously we need some toothpaste too...
Colgate Optic White Express White Toothpaste: And Influenster rose to the occasion to give us the matching toothpaste. And I’m in love. I actually always used Crest before this. My toothbrush was Oral-B, but my toothpaste and mouthwash were both Crest. But i’m pretty convinced on these Colgate products. I was a bit worried about trying these because I have sensitive teeth, and have been using sensitivity toothpaste. But I haven’t had an issue since switching. And like I said before, my teeth are actually whiter. absolutely the best whitening products Once I’m out of mouthwash I’ll switch that too. I’m totally sold.
John Frieda Frizz-Ease Beyond Smooth: I’m going to start by saying that I’m a lifelong user of John Frieda Frizz-Ease. I will always stand by this brand. However, when I got these samples, I was only using the Frizz-Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir. But I have used Frizz-Ease shampoos and conditioners before (I change my shampoo around regularly). This wasn’t my favorite shampoo/conditioner I’ve used. It left my hair a bit limp because it made my hair to smooth to be curly. However, If I want to straighten my hair, this product is perfect because it makes straightening my hair a lot easier. So I do like it, but just not for an everyday use. However, the primer that came with it is amazing. It nourishes my hair and definitely locks frizz out, even at the roots where I have the most trouble. Definite winner there.
Land’s End: I wasn’t a fan of this really. They gave a code to get a discount on $100 spent at Land’s End ($25). Now Land’s End has nice clothes, but they’re not really my style. And I’m a college student, so I don’t exactly have $75 to spend on clothes I probably won’t wear all the time so I feel like I’m missing out. That said, if Land’s End is up your alley, the code is “VOXLOVE” and the pin is “132194″.
Overall, I thought this was an amazing box. I’m thrilled with all the amazing products i received and definitely found some new favorites! If you want to join Influensterand start getting great products to test and review (FOR FREE!), send me your email and I will be sure to invite you!
