Got my first succulents from @sucstu May have accidentally subscribed 4 times, fixed that. But I’m so excited to see what species I get next month🤩 #succulentstudios #tigersjaw #powderpuff #faucariatigrina #xpachyveria #anyonewantsome #beginningofmycollection
Hi Dan! I’m not sure how frequently you answer as I just stumbled across your blog while frantically searching the succulent tag. I just bought this succulent at the farms market fully aware of how to care for them but not realizing there were different types and that some were poisonous to cats and others not. I have two cats and am unsure of the type of succulent I have. I just was wondering if you could tell me! I’m looking online but there’s so much information. I don’t know echeveria or chicken and hen. Just all very overwhelming. Thanks so much! Just looking out for my kitties
Hi,
That’s some kind of xPachyveria hybrid, between an Echeveria and a Pachyphytum. I have no idea what cultivar it might be. I don’t know whether they’re toxic to animals or not.
Happy growing!
hello there! I was wondering if I could get some help identifying my succulent? the first picture is from when I first got it, and the second one is what it looks like now! definitely gotten a lot taller, and it got a little beaten up recently, hence the broken end on the bottom. aside from that, does it look okay? I’m not sure if I’m taking the best care of it, it’s the first plant I’ve ever taken care of. :’)
Hi,
I guess that’s a form of xPachyveria glauca. It’s become taller due to a lack of light, causing it to stretch out so it can gather more available light. Move it to a brighter spot if possible. Other than that however, it looks great.
Happy growing!
Hi there! Any idea what kind of succulent this is? Thanks so much x
Hi,
I think that’s a xPachyveria hybrid of some kind. Perhaps xPachyveria ‘Little Jewel’. It’s very handsome whatever it is. :)
Happy growing!
