this is kind of a funny tidbit.
for context, I have started taking classes to get a recording engineering associates degree. we use pro tools, because it is apparently the industry standard. (bad choice on the part of industry. but it makes sense because capitalism does not make good decisions! but I digress.)
anyway, there's a virtual instrument called Xpand!2 that has a wide variety of MIDI sounds, and I was looking high&low in all the string, guitar, etc. sections trying to find a banjo. no dice, so I ended up working without it for several days. can you guess where I finally found the banjo, just clicking around today?
