Okay, so I have a crazy head Canon for Ramon collapsing. What if he is dying and they are able to take through their conflict and it's like a call back to when eddie says tomorrow is not promised to anyone. And Eddie doesn't want to lose anyone else. So at the renewal of Henren's vows... he confesses his feelings for Buck and says he just needed him to know. He needed to tell him. And Buck says he needs to be on his own for awhile after him and Taylor split. He needs to figure out what he wants for himself. Then we get Eddie pining and continuing to heal in 6a and by 6x10 we have Buck coming to the conclusion that Eddie is what he wants and the life, the foundation, the family he made with him and Chris.

Ummmmm hi hello this is fucking brilliant?!? I hadn’t thought of this?!? Like ok but this actually makes so much fucking sense. Let’s discuss! So Eddie goes back to reconcile with his parents along with his aunt and grandmother. Obviously something happens to his father where he collapses in the midst of some kinda Diaz family argument (possibly about the lack of Christopher)!

Now I can totally get behind Eddie realizing tomorrow isn’t promised to anyone and deciding he really needs to do soemthing. I can see him then wanting to tell Buck about his feelings but I feel like we don’t have much concrete evidence to make the ga believe it? Like yes we in the fandom know it wouldn’t be random but like would it be believable enough for the ga if he confesses his feelings to Buck??

But let’s say he does do that! And he doesn’t expect Buck to reply or anything. It works in the sense where KR said we’re headed to a big finale. Buck is newly single but as Oliver said, he needs to worry about his own self worth and what he wants in a partner. So maybe Eddie confessing does plant that idea in Buck’s brain that oh Eddie is a definite option. And we see both of their journeys in s6 of them pining but also working through their feelings for each other separately. We can see Buck struggling with whether or not he deserves Eddie. Or him simply trying to figure out what kind of partner he himself deserves. And we can see Eddie struggling to wanna be with him but knowing he’s gotta give him some space, while continuing to heal from his trauma. Like ideally it does make a lot of sense. And it does set it up perfectly for them to officially get together in the mid season finale or even the season finale (I hope not that long). Holy shit I am not gonna be thinking about this forever thank you 🥹
