hi guys! i'm sure a lot of you are already aware there's a new scam making ways around tumblr—someone dms you, then claims to have accidentally reported your account and urges you to contact "tumblr staff" through discord to stop them from terminating your account.

anyway, just wanted to let you know that maria @cilly-murphy got scammed this way and lost access to her account. and so if you receive any dms from "her"—ignore them and do not engage. stay safe out there!
