Two kinds of people in the world.

( cute angst again though b/c kodak will honestly feel like she can't be with him due to her situation and all :'( )

( That would not sit well with Cavendish at all — he expressed his displeasure to how Rebecca was treated and she had been a mere stranger to him, but Kodak, is someone whom he admires as well as slowly falls for, thus he would do everything in his power to not allow her mistreatment by the company to continue in the slightest if he were to find out.

For one, he’s a nobleman with a lot of money and wouldn’t mind expending it to free his beloved. He’s also a pirate, which means he wouldn’t mind using dirty methods to get more money as well as kidnap her to himself if it comes down to it.

He would be intensely frustrated if he were to find out of her reasons for not wishing to be with him — honestly I can see him assuming she just doesn’t like him which would be a huge blow, because everyone before her only liked him for his looks and with her he’d think there may be something real there.

All rationality aside, even when not as Hakuba, Cavendish is pretty dangerous and wished to kill the supernovas for merely stealing his fame. I can’t put it past him to actually try and slaughter all those who have wronged her / hold her captive even if it went against her own wishes.

Adding on to the cute angst however, Cavendish would also be hesitant to get involved with her because Kodak is far too innocent and harmless, while he has a lunatic murderer waiting to take over his body every time he closes his eyes
