My friends and I went to Baguio l last week and I was deeply inspired because of the vibe and nature in Baguio. It feels like all the art blocks that I’ve been having for months have disappeared for good. So I was thinking this morning it would be a total waste if I don’t draw Baguio the way I see it and in my style. So here it is! Also, in my recent personal sketches, I’ve been trying to experiment with different lighting. In this art I wanted the sun to highlight the trees to match the vibe of the Botanical Garden and the magenta flowers. I enjoy making this Baguio art series, so expect more in the next few days😂

Week2: Traslacion of the Black Nazarene A few days ago, I posted about my grandfather's critical condition. Last January 9, on my way home to get some clothes, I got stuck in Sta.Cruz due to heavy traffic caused by the feast. I decided to get off the jeepney and walk. And curiosity hit me, why not try to look whats happening in Plaza Miranda. So i went and walk towards Hidalgo Street. As I walk closer and closer, right before my eyes is the Black Nazarene and people shouting "Viva Nazareno". It gave the chills, goosebumps and cant help my tears to fall and succumb myself into praying for my grandfather's quick recovery. Yesterday, he pulled his ET tube and NGT. We decided to let him be for a few hours and requested for an ABG test to see if his CO2 will rise again. Just this morning, i fed him some gelatin, first feeding of soft food after 5days in the ICU.
