New Oregairu really enforced the fact of what Hayato keeps telling Hikki. "I'm really not a nice guy." And I feel as though these next episodes have possibilities to expand on that. I really hope Iroha doesn't crawl back to Hikki for being such a gentleman to her in the past now that she's Hayato-less. Hikki shouldn't have to deal with that. Sadly, the season is coming to its end all too quickly and i'm craving so much more.
Yeah, that much is true. I’m really going to miss Oregairu once it’s over and I hope that it won’t take another two years for the next season to come around. As for Hayato, I’m really interested to learn a little more about him and see what kind of person he really is, so I’m definitely looking forward to finding out!
Friendly reminder about Danmachi! Weeks and episodes go by and it keeps getting better. ^.^
Good to know! I haven’t forgotten about it yet, but I haven’t really felt motivated lately and I definitely want to give it a fair evaluation, so I’m kinda waiting for the right moment ^^
I'm sure the writers have something good in store, it'd be too offsetting to end on a dark note. I'm just surprised that the election problem ended so quickly and easily. Now on to the true headache this season which is the tension between Hikki and Yukino! And honestly i don't know where it's headed(the writers are good at that) as yukino's tone as she walked out didn't comfort me at all.
That’s true, I also think we still have a lot of things coming for us with the problems between Hikki and Yukinon and I have no idea how they are going to solve that... I think the most painful stuff might still be ahead of us. I’m just gonna keep the fluffy scenes of this episode in the back of my mind as a happy place to go to in times of need...
My little shipper heart couldn't handle that new oregairu episode. Also, I got really excited seeing Yui FINALLY move her chair to Hikki's side of the table. I have no idea if that means anything in the upcoming plot but it meant a lot to me!
Oooooooh, that’s true! I didn’t even catch that or rather put a lot of thought into it, but now that you mention it, Yui moving her chair could be something symbolic... I just hope that at the end of it all, everything will be fine...
Personally, I believe the story is about to take a big turn for their group. I'm expecting Yukinon to try even harder to win this election once she knows Yui is running just so she can protect her from all the burdens that come with it. But as a result that's just gonna make Yui try even harder for the sake of having the club at all. At the end, I just see them both wrapped up in the election so much that Hikki is left attending the club but no one ever shows up besides him.
That could happen as well... No matter what, it seems like this conflict won’t be resolved easily. I just hope that at the end of it all, their friendship won’t break. But then again, if they can manage to find a solution to all of this, their bonds might end up stronger than they were before. Argh, I just want them all to hang out and be friends again and have some fun! My heart can’t take all of this sadness....
The new Oregairu really did it for me. That whole Hayama scene in the coffee shop couldn't of been better and I felt like the writers have been waiting months/years to script in those comforting words Hayama told Hikki. Also, I love seeing this character growth in Yui! As I mostly only see her as the mediator between the polar opposites that are Yukinoshita and Hikkigaya this was a big step for her in my eyes, even if it's for the sake of the club.
Oh god, that coffee shop scene… I can get quite vocal when watching anime and at that point I was screaming, because I couldn’t contain myself anymore. I have to admit, of everyone in the show’s cast Hayama wasn’t exactly at the top of my list of people who I could see standing up for Hikki, but that kinda made the scene even more meaningful. I’ve been wondering where he stands for a while now, but with this he has shown that he really does see Hikki as a friend and wants to help him.
And damn right, Yui has grown a lot. It is hard to take a stand when you’re best friends are fighting with each other, so I have a lot of respect for her that she did just that by finding a solution that would neither put Hikki nor Yukinon in a bad place. Though I have to admit, as cool as it was to see her step up to the plate and make a decision like that, I’m also worried that she might be burdening herself too much there. I hope this won’t be in vain and Yukinon and Hikki will be able to make up again thanks to Yui being so brave here.
They're doing a really terrific job with yahari ore this season. I don't know what to expect and my Hachiman heartstrings have never been more tense! Hachiman is my favorite after all, so it's killing me to see him like this. I hope to see some resolution happen so i'm not a mess forever. And like i said for danmachi, absolutely no rush my friend! :3
That’s true, Hachiman definitely doesn’t seem to catch a break this season. He’s solving everyone else’s problems, but his own seem to grow over his head, so I really do hope they will find a way to help him for once by the end of the season. I definitely wouldn’t survive a very open end, especially if it took another two years to make a possible third season...
