i imagine emmanuel befriending someone and giving them one of his jumpers for the first christmas because he's not really sure about what christmas mean to humans but his jumpers are simly his most valuable possesions and he likes keeping others warm

She'll throw random pieces of candy at him. Or be really obnoxious and just sit on his lap until he pays attention to her, very much like a cat ~

My character is jokingly ignoring yours. How does your character get their attention?

He would react to the candy by trying to ignore for like ten more seconds, then turn his head to try and catch the candy in his mouth.

The cat thing, depending on how it was executed, might get him to scratch under her chin and call her kitten. Because he’d think he was funny.

And yet you see, both forms of attempts were successful at getting his attention.
