Raiden lay there, barely breathing. He couldn’t move from all the wounds he had sustained. He wasn’t even sure to just what exactly happened. One moment, he was just fine, the next he was under attack. He hadn’t smelled anything out of the ordinary nor did he feel any peculiar presence, so what the hell attacked him?
Crimson hues remained closed as his chest felt like it was growing tighter. It was getting harder and harder to breath. He had no clue just how long he was laying there for, nor if he was even in the same place as before. All he did know is that there was this sudden warmth near him. Where was it coming from? The scent of his blood was too thick in the air for him to figure out just what was happening. A moment later, there was something soft upon his lips, something that seemed almost too familiar.
The metallic yet sweet taste of blood ran down his throat, and Raiden did his best to drink it. He could feel it already taking effect, but the question was, who saved him. He felt a pair of hands begin to shake him, and a voice called out to him but it sounded so distant. He let out a groan, his mind just barely starting to clear as he opened his eyes and tried to make out the blurry vision of the person that had saved him. Finally when his head cleared, he smiled weakly up at the blond, surprised that she was there but unable to manage much else at the moment. “Ts-Tsunade.”
There wasn't much time to celebrate, she caught their scent. The ones who'd hurt him. "I'll kill them..!" She quickly summoned a small slug containing her chakra, which attached itself onto Raiden in order to siphon energy into his weak body. Tsunade slowly walked over to three figures whom were surrounding them. Before she could get a word out she was punched across the face with incredible force that caused her to fly through the brick wall of the old building beside her, the blond cried out in pain was she was dragged out by her pony tails, "She glared up up the men...or creatures...before her as blood dripped down her face and landed into the snow, staining it.
Tsunade was sure about one thing, their physical strength almost matched her own and the whole left side of her body felt as if it were on fire, slowly she began to stand, her seal releasing on her forehead, her head hanging down low, "Looks like we need to go all out Katsuyu.." Blood stained her teeth, as her head snapped back up, her amber hues turning jade, blood trickling down from her nose from the strain of chakra flow, she was over doing it, but she wouldn't let them kill him. She'd given the blood to him so he'd have a chance, but her? No. She wouldn't.
"Tsunade-sama!! But you'll die!" The slug piped up in a tone of fear mixed with worry.
"I don't care." She huffed as the Yin Seal split into five diamonds on her forehead and blue markings began to cover her body, she could feel them beating on her, each hit harder than the last, but she remained still, concentrating slowly, reaching the requirements for Sage Mode.
