Modern Day Robin Hood
Marian worked hard on the grave shift of the little fast food joint known as The Cheese Grill which was situated right in the middle of the worst part of town. They had only been robbed twice in known record, the owner had a shot gun and a mean temper as well as a large amount of less reputable costumers so usually no one tried to piss off any of them.
No matter how bad the streets got Marian usually felt pretty safe, they were after all her people, dirt poor and desperate. This was why when she was walking back to her old beat up Camry after a double shift that she wasn’t watching everything as sharply as perhaps she should have been. She really didn’t know that this day she would have a meeting that would change the rest of her life, the rest of a lot of people’s lives. How could she? It seemed like just any other Friday Night.
