how do you put on false eyelashes so well 😩 whenever I try I just end up gluing my eyes shut :p
Oh, I don’t. The first time I put them on it was SO easy But some how the last few times have been a train wreck. I’ll tell you what does help though, invest in a good eyelash glue. The elf ones or the ones that often come with the packet are usually terrible. I use Duo, which was not easy to find in Australia, because Australia hates consumers.
But I’m starting to get it. I put the eyelash up against my eye, make sure it is the right length, then I put glue on there making sure the inner and outer corners have plenty, then I wait for it to get a little tacky, about 20-30 seconds, then I put it on as best as I can with a pair of tweezers, then I gently squeeze it with my thumb and forefinger to push the lash and my fake lash together and hopefully not do it so hard that the eyelash gets stuck to my fingers and I pull it off (actual thing I did).
In the picture that is my icon right now, one of my eyelashes looked perfect and the other one looked kind of fucked up, and I couldn’t fix the fucked up one so I just. . .fucked up the other one a little, used a little extra mascara to gloop it together so they were less perfect.
It’s a chop shop job. Oh, and try not to close your eyes for long until the glue dries! :P
