            He can feel it. From across the Earth, the Season can tell : there are small portions of himself ( buried in deep snow banks, flowing atop old frozen rivers & clinging to the sides of ancient mountains ) that are losing their grasp, winking out of existence. They are too insignificant to cause him PAIN as a mortal might know the concept, but it was still a tad discomforting to sense them disappearing.           A bit of focus relays to the ancient all he needs to know to warrant his abandonment of the current project taking up the better part of his focus. He releases the half - formed storm with the sharp exhale of his own breath in surprise ; it slips from his lips & begins to carve a path into the wastes so already familiar with his presence. Winter looks ahead, eyes narrowing, from the opposing pole. It doesn’t take long for its gaze to shift fully, its rugged, titanic self to disperse & skirt along its sibling’s realm to travel toward home.           Luthias finds HIM easily, coming into that part of the tundra as a windstorm that curiously fades upon entering eyesight. From the vestiges of those gusts, he forms the infamous shape most know better : ice flesh, frosted waves of hair, diamond - encrusted & accented with dark paints & fine pale clothes. Only, unlike most instances of his visiting another, the Season remains back, watching.          It reminds this portion of Cold ( the corner of the mammoth entity that felt even if it loathed its ability to do so, that sobbed though it could not cry, that had once shattered the bindings of its throat with the force of its screaming ) of something it was   .  .   eerily saddened to recognize.                                  “ CLARK. ”                    ( what has their world done to you now. )

                                                                           a conceited simper tugs at his pallid lips: derived of all prior humour he may have retained for the man  &  physiognomy indefinitely sour’d, in the fruitless attempt in comprehension of his scholarly encephalon. many had endeavoured to decipher the mind-forged manacles that would chain each idle memoir to another, alas, to no avail. jonathan was something of a closed book  —  torturous, as it may seem, for he’d never offer any form of discussion on the life he’d known as a youth. the manipulation, the torment, the peck! peck! ‘s of the crows as they punished him in his grandmother’s place. the savage flesh wounds that would indeed be gone within the week. not a soul would know the tales of jonathan crane. he was just another anonymous gothamite with a façade consisting of burlap.
