Fun fact, the transformation smoke is almost the exact same in the 2001 adaptation. LMAO This one just looks like slightly less pixel-y smoke, and higher quality. It’s even CGI like the 2001 one had.

Senpai is best boy. It’s not even a competition. But I agree I like Mutsumi & Nishima the most, but Iga is a close 2nd for the boys after he got development. You should read the manga. LOL But I’d wait until the new chapter comes out bc the latest one made me wanna flip all the tables.

Since you were already on the topic of N+C characters for that character thing, let's add Nano to that list~ And if you want too, maybe Karoku (Karneval)? Specifically 'real' Karoku. xD

AAAA, yes I’ll do the drug child, gotta love him 

First impression: I was honestly really unnerved by him?? Like, there was no indication of this strange man? The way he spoke, so soft and entrancing, to Takeru, speaking as if he knew him, it threw me off and gave me a bad impression of this man. Like, who was he? And why did he seem.. ghost like? I was edgy and unnerved by Nano initially the first time around. 

Impression now: this man, this poor fucking man.... I adore him now. Like, so much of his behaviors, his hatred deep down for humanity, for the world. Everything he’d been through, it’s so lonely, he never knew what it was like to have a gentle touch that wasn’t medical. He’s went for so long without actual healthy human contact, besides the one he had with Akira and Emma, and even then, it was taken away from him. The first time he’d ever had any hope, although even he himself wasn’t aware of it until Akira himself told him, was when his other half, the only person who could ever understand, was within his reach. And it’s only because of him, that Nano truly understood what it was meant to be human...  

Favorite moment: LOTS OF MOMENTS, I love the moment where he just.. took a piece of the tree, just, chewing on it, and offering it to Akira (and the fact he actually dID FUCKING TRY IT). Also the scene with the solid as well. God damnit nano, you’re so eloquent in language, and yet you can’t figure out how to eat properly. But in all seriousness, the scene where he and Shiki, where Shiki killed him, the moment he said “you’ve lost” it just... sent chills man. Nano is so calculated.... its scary. OH, AND THE FUKNG.... LAST SCENE FOR THE TRU ENDING..... Nano’s smile.... the music.... the way his voice softened.... it moves me so much...... i cried so much, angrily also because his fUCKING NAME--

Idea for a story: I’d love to explore Nano and Shiki’s interactions more, there’s so much there.... this need to dominate, mentally as well as physically. ALSO NANO AND EMMA, I JUST, NEED MORE OF THEM.....

Unpopular opinion: Nano may be a victim, but he is not innocent of the blood of his hands. Idk, it’s easy to forget that I guess? Since he acts so docile seeming at times. 

Favorite relationship: I really like Nano and Shiki, as well as Nano and Emma..... just, so much man. Emma’s last words, were heart breaking. She truly wanted what was best for Nano.... Also Nano and Akira for obvious reasons

Favorite headcanon: Nano loves Shakespearean poetry and plays, and memorizes them to a T. 

ALSO I LOVED KARNEVAL AS WELL, BUT.... it’s been so long, I cant even remember what I felt about Karoku ;; or if i even finished the anime or not. s o rry...... maybe I’ll rewatch it and then do this meme for him?
