Okay so I think it’s really clear and obvious that Kisame is SO head over heels for Itachi… pretty sure Itachi knows too I mean it’s super obvious… But the loyalty and love run deeper than what any poet could describe in a lifetime.
He just wishes he could say it flat out in english and when not drunk off his ass.
He really really REALLY admires and loves Itachi like u have no idea

He’d get really flustered, a little embarrassed, he’d turn a nice shade of purple and…. probably eventually get the strength the flirt a little back once he gets over the initial shock
Who knows where it’d go from there… but if Itachi’s leading him into something, well, Kisame’ll be putty in his hands.

I’m sorry I haven’t said much lately, about… Well, anything for that matter. There’s just been a lot on my mind and I know there’s been a lot on yours too and I guess I just wanted to let you know that I’m here… Here if you need to talk or vent or anything…

ψ An angsty headcanon about our characters
When Itachi dies, there’s a very good chance that Kisame will spiral downwards, back to how he was before he met him. He’ll get a lot more reckless, be a lot more bitter, and I don’t think he’ll ever really get over the loss.
He’ll push forward with life, but I think a little part of him will die with Itachi, and he’ll never ever forget.

Injured: Oh you know he’d be all up on that shit in mere SECONDS to help, tend to wounds, make sure he’s okay, etc. He’d fuss until Itachi tells him to stop.
Killed: Outright rage, anybody who did it or was part of it would LITERALLY be torn to shreds in horrible, painful ways. He’d be so blinded by how angry and upset he is because how dare anybody take Itachi away before his time.
If he was there to witness Itachi’s death, when the carnage and bloodshed in his eyes subside, he’d probably truly and genuinely shed tears.
