Byewhedon - harassment and cyberbullying disguised as a SJ issue

byewhedon  is dismissive of verbal abuse heaped upon people they disagree with to the point where you think that people being called “maggots” and “scum of the earth” is just “playing the victim card” and they condone harassing and verbally abusive behaviour by others.

They care more about the fate of fictional characters than about the well-being of actual, real live people, including rape and trauma survivors, and consistently speak over them without listening.

They consistently ignore arguments and evidence, if they disprove any of the points they claim to make.

They engage in censorship and silencing techniques and such fallacious strategies as ad hominem attacks and strawmen arguments .

They complain about people being triggered, but disregard people asking them to tag their content appropriately, so other people won’t be triggered. Repeatedly.

Maybe it’s just me, but creating a whole blog dedicated to calling rape and abuse survivors “disgusting” and something that “needs to be eradicated of the face of the earth” as they and their “friends” do, looks an awful lot like cyberbullying and harassment to me.
