I finally stopped slacking enough to get all the Celestial Tournament pets!
The adorable Ban-Fu is all done! I really didn't expect to finish him so soon, with all the felting that he requires, but it's always good news when this happens! He was the partner to Blue Twilight, and is already on his way to his new home in New Jersey! I'll also be announcing the listing day for the remaining 2 Twilights shortly, so stay tuned! What do you all think of this adorable Monk kitty 😄 Find more World of Warcraft inspired plushies at TheTallGrass.etsy.com!
Finally beat the celestial tournament and snagged one of the celestial pets

Beat the Celestial Tournament this week!
Im so proud of myself! Here is a guide I wrote up for those interested
Having an addon that shows you the cooldown of each pet's ability is highly recommended, try Pokemon Trainer. This week was Lorewalker Cho, Dr. Ion Goldbloom, and Sully "The PIckle" Mcleary. These 3 are the easiest to beat and Ill have to remake my teams to beat the other trainers for the next 2 weeks Lorewalker cho Gusting Grimoire - Shadow shock, Agony, Meteor Strike Onyxian Whelpling - Tail Sweep, Healing Flame, Lift off Flayer Youngling - Blitz, Deflection, Kick You want to start off with Meteor strike on Wisdom for massive damage, then apply Agony and Shadow Shock until he dies. Apply Agony to Patience when he enters the battle and Shadow Shock until your Grimoire dies. Then bring out your whelping. You can use lift off to avoid some damage but you are going mostly going to be using Tail Sweep and Healing Flame until he dies. Throw a couple of Tail Sweeps onto Knowledge then switch to your Flayer and Blitz/Defection until you win. Dr. Ion Goldbloom Lil Tarecgosa - Breath, Surge of power, Arcane Storm Brilliant Kaliri - Quills, Shriek, Predatory Strike Lesser Voidcaller - Nether Blast, Siphon Life, Drain Power Screamer is always going to use lift-off for his first move so cast Arcane Storm, then Surge of Power your next turn. You will take a huge chunk of his health off causing him to Feign Death and bring out Trike. Switch to the Kaliri and use Shriek and Quills to kill him. You can choose to wait to use Predatory Strike until he is at low health but it hits hard even without the pet having 25% health left. Screamer will probably get swapped in and then immediately feign death for Chaos. Chaos is a magic type pet so your first instinct is to use a dragon type however his Logic ability is super effective against dragons. If your Lil T is still alive you can switch her in for damage but expect her to die quickly. If she does use the Voidcaller's Drain Power/Siphon Life combo then chip away at his health with Nether Blast. When Screamer is finally switched back in one or two Nether Blasts will win you the battle Sully "The PIckle" Mcleary Swamp Croaker - Tongue Lash, Swarm of Flies, Bubble Gilnean Raven - Alpha Strikes, Call Darkness, Nocturnal Strike Guardian Cub - Slicing Wind, Roar, Reckless Strike Socks is alive!! Well...sorta. Frogs are amazing for Socks. Most frogs have a heal, the one I was running with didnt so I just Bubbled off the bat then used Swarm of Flies and Tongue Lash until he died. Dot up Monte when he comes out with Swarm of Flies and Tongue lash him until your frog dies. Then switch to the raven for the Darkness/Nocturnal Strike combo and Alpha Strike until he dies. After that Rikki is easy to pick off with Reckless Strike and Slicing Wind Congrats! Now you just have to face the Celestials! Yu'la Kun-Lai Runt - Takedown, Frost Shock, Deep Freeze Anubisath Idol - Crush, Stoneskin, Deflection Peddlefeet - Bow Shot, Perfumed Arrow, Love Potion Yu'la is a dragon so human based attacks are amazing, but her shield makes attacks that hit multiple times no bueno. I start off with the Frost Shock/Deep Freeze combo and stun her then Takedown until she kills my Runt. Switch to the Idol throw up your shield and use Crush. When she uses Lift-off counter it with Deflection. After Idol dies switch to Peddlefeet one of the best humanoids in the game. Bow Shot/Perfumed Arrow until she dies. If you get low use Love Potion, it goes first! ^_^ Zao Skywisp Moth - Slicing Wind, Cocoon Strike, Call Lightning Ji-kun Hatching - Slicing Wind, Wild Winds, Flock Clockwork Gnome - Metal Fist, Repair, Build Turret Zao hits like a truck! Start with your moth and use Call Lightning (dragon hatchlings work as well but the moth takes less damage from beasts) then switch to the Hatchling (or again any bird with flock) and use Flock and Slicing Wind. Zao's wish heals for a bunch so expect to get close and then have him heal up for roughly half his health. If call lightning ends remember to refresh it and then switch back to your hatchling for flock or if it dies Gnome for turrets. Resist the urge to use Repair you really cant afford the down time. Just keep building turrets and whacking him with Metal Fists. ChiChi Nether FAerie Dragon - Arcane Blast, Evanescence, Moonfire Chrominius - Arcane Explosion, Howl, Surge of Power Nexus Whelping - Tail Sweep, Mana Surge, Arcane Storm Chichi is annoying as hell with his heal and 100% dodge. For this strat to work you must be able to know when Ethereal is off cd because he will use it if it is. The idea here is to magic bomb him to death. Start with the Nether Faerie for Moonfire and Arcane Blast. Evanescence if you can predict when he will use Fire Quills but its important to have Moonfire up before your dragon dies. Then switch to Chrominius for Howl/Surge of Power combo, but again remember to not Surge if Ethereal is coming off cd, becasue Ethereal always goes first. After that switch to your Nexus Whelping for the Arcane Storm/Mana Surge combo Xu'Fu Crawling Claw - Shadow Slash, Ancient Blessing, Curse of Doom Pandaren Water Spirit - Water Jet, Whirlpool, Geyser Alpine Foxling - BIte, Howl, Dazzling Dance This guy hits super hard due to his Moonfire/Spirit Claws combo so most strats tell you to bring weather changing pets. The only way I could beat him is with the Howl bomb method. Any pets with the ablities needed can be substituted in but the Water Spirit is the only water type with Whirlpool and Geyser not on the same tier. The strat is this: start off with curse of doom, then switch to the water spirit and put up Geyser first then Whirlpool (timing is everything), then switch to your howl pet for 100% increased damage. When all the debuffs go off Xu'fu should be dead or significantly low in health. He can only heal by feeding on the corpses of your dead pets so this method is pretty effective for him. After that I just spammed BIte until he died Post your winning team combos or ask questions. This tournament requires a lot of prep work, so dont be discouraged if you keep dying. The rewards are too cute to give up on!
My gnome and a miniaturized Xu-Fu.
Won the Celestial Tournament. See my new pet, Xu-Fu!
