I finally stopped slacking enough to get all the Celestial Tournament pets!
I finally did it!
I kept forgetting and missing the trainers at the Celestial Tournament I needed but I got the ones I hadn’t battled with my Elekk and now I have Trunks too!
The Celestial Tournament
I have mentioned the Celestial Tournament before. It is a pet battle challenge in World of Warcraft on Timeless Ilse in Pandaria. You go there and speak to Master Li to join in. Master Li on the Timeless Isle Master Li has a simple description of the event. The tournament is an instance with its own rules. To be able to enter it you first need to have at least 15 battle pets at level 25. That…

Ta-daaaaa! Finally got all four of the pets from the Celestial Tournament. Now I never have to do it again!
....except, of course, that I’ve done almost nothing towards the ‘An Awfully Big Adventure’ achievement, which requires doing all 9 of the pre-Celestial teams (and a whole bunch of other master trainers) with an elekk plushie on your team. No idea how I’m going to manage those, because some of them are incredibly difficult. But I’ll need to go back if I want to get Trunks the baby elekk.

I'm going to do a try hard run at the Celestial Tournament. Wish me luck!

So there you go: you can't accept the Celestial Tournament quest on a low-level character, nor can you queue for the scenario to do it, but you CAN turn it in on a low-level character. Gives 111k exp at 86, just like the little tommy newcomer daily (which you CAN accept and do on a lowbie)
Google failed me but just doing it myself (and relogging like six times) answered that question, so there you go.
(Also I really hate Cho/Goldbloom/Sully weeks, it's the only combo I don't have super easy counter teams set up for so I have to remember what pets are in what order and what pets I want to be using every three weeks. I really should just set something up but ehhhh lol)
