A little more focus on Kyou today, :)

It is a constant butt of heads for control ever since they were chained together, a being manipulative and prideful, And Kyou ever stubborn. it’s always exhausting for both parties..which can lead to moments where there’s a stalemate, neither raising a hand to harm. its these times where Xul tries to coerce its human cage, playing on his emotions and past relationships with faux sympathy/concern

“I see how you hurt…it makes me feel…strange..why do you not reach out?.”

it has almost fooled him..too many times he’d like to admit, but he always remembers what this..thing..has done, to his friends, his loved ones, his home. a burning fire of determination broils in his heart at the thought of losing it all again, after all the progress he made. Giving him the strength to shut Xul out once more.

“No, no no no. I won’t accept your poor excuse of pity, I don’t need you, I don’t need darkness.”

…there are still times where his desires and anger get the best of him, and give an opening to the darkness, albeit for a moment…Still, he tries,

With all his determination, he won’t let Xul win
