What had been going through her mind? The surgeon was quite caught up on figuring out what the hell her purpose was. With her attempt at offing him, not once but two times ( an easy fail of course) he wasn’t certain what it was that drew him not to throw her off the ship... or for her to leave. She didn’t claim that she had joined, despite him laying it right out in front of her clear as day.
A heavy breathe passed through his lips as he trailed along the hallway, heading to the study, a brow raising before her spoke. “So you ready to explain to me why the hell you remain on the sub?” It has been a few days now since they surfaced and were currently docked at an island for supplies, she could have easily left, leaving no excuses.
“Just admit to your joining--” it would be the easier way, and not to mention a lot less stressful and confusing for either of them. Law hadn’t ever faced a woman quite like this, she was both annoying but also somewhat intriguing, the latter being a mystery to him.
“Well?”
