“who?” she looked up at the guy passing their table “him? He is ok. Why do you ask?” she was confused as to why he would ask such a random question

The setting sun painted the sky in dark reds and purples, illuminating a crippled airship sitting sadly in her bay. It had been in his family for at least three generations and now looking at her disabled form, he felt his heart break. His grandfather must surely be spinning in his grave at the thought of his beloved ship, which had been entrusted to his son and finally to his grandson, being in such sad shape. Her condition was due to a fierce battle with an enemy gunship, hey had barely gotten away and spent several days limping to the port of call she was now docked in.

While they had been drifting, Yongguk had checked his books. The ships coffers were low and he knew that they wouldn’t be able to afford repairs so he sent a message to Yongnam, his brother, detailing the situation. Since Yongnam managed the money and kept the family’s affairs in order, he was the one to send a request for assistance in repairs. The message had arrived that afternoon, Yongnam would be transferring the money for the repairs and sending another engineer to help speed things along since the ship’s engineer was injured in the battle that got the ship into its current, sad state.

Sighing, he pushed off the railing, tearing his eyes away from his near wreck of a ship. He had to meet the engineer who was coming in on the next ship. Yongguk made his way down the stone stairs and to the section of the docks that was for public transportation. He briefly wished that Yoseob was still around to accompany him, would have done the talking and greeted the newcomer without Yongguk actually having to say two words. While the man was gone, his ghost seemed to linger with Yongguk. They always told him that time would heal his wounds, but it wasn’t true, each day, it seemed to become worse.

He buried his feelings, finally arriving at the dock where he would be meeting the engineer as he came down the gangplank. Head bowed, lost in his thoughts, dark hair shadowing his eyes, Yongguk waited for the other man to arrive.

Danger

    @xviternity              She stared at him behind the wall, following him around for the pass few days. Ahyoung was wondering if anyone had reported anyone missing, and by anyone. Her latest kill was high status making her more nervous the usual. After all her she was drunk when she killed them, she could barely remember it. She could have made a mistake along the way, and for her carelessness she has to take care of it. She kept following the detective keeping her distances as much as possible. “Idiot.” She called herself, annoyed.              Ahyoung knew someone would be after her, maybe the head of the crime unit was on it. Who knows but Ahyoung was ready to find out, as she approached him. She smiles looking at him. “Hello!”

"Locked myself out of the bedroom...and your couch is too cold" says a half-asleep Himchan as he crawls next to her into her bed, "good night..." he yawns before falling asleep immediately.

hearing his explanation she sighed heavily and turned around hugging her pillow. “just make sure you don’t snore. if i kick you in my sleep, i apologize beforehand.” she was just too lazy to go unlock  the door of his bedroom. it’s been a while since she last slept and she needed more time to sleep. besides, she trusted himchan.

“You’re quiet”

You’re quiet...

Yongguk had been lost in thought, emotions churning inside him. He hadn’t even touched his food, which he’d been excited to get with Himchan. He didn’t get to see his friend much with his job and now... well now there was someone else taking up all of his friend’s free time. Normally, it wouldn’t have bothered him, but she seemed to always be there when he was and he constantly felt like a third wheel.

“I’m quiet because we need to talk about your Booty Call that seems to want to go everywhere you do. And frankly, I’m tired of it.” This could possibly put a rift in the newly repaired friendship but he’d had enough. He couldn’t believe he was... jealous over some... girl. It’s not like he had feelings for Himchan, he just hadn’t seen the other man in over six years and he felt that he couldn’t get an actual moment to himself with Himchan.

It was driving him nuts. “Look, before you go off on me, I wanna say this, I haven’t seen you in ages and what I really want is time with you, without her.” He knew exactly how he sounded, but Himchan was... his first real friend... not matter how fucked up he had been. How much trouble they’d gotten into, Himchan was number one. “I’m sorry.” He said quietly. “I’m out of line.” Now he was sure he’d screwed everything up and he wondered, briefly, if he should just go ahead and leave before Himchan tore him a new asshole or something.
