A year ~ It’s been a year since he had came back into her life – more so her being introduced all over again to him after she had started up working in the same building as he did. They talked, more than she originally thought that they would. And went out almost every other day to grab a cup of coffee and to talk more. It was all so different now that they were a bit older, a bit more mature — What were they? Something, or were they nothing the entire time? Those very questions swam around in Yumi’s mind as she sat there, her legs demurely crossed over each other while both hands grasped the warm cup of coffee close. Her dark brown orbs settled upon the others face, examining his handsome and defined features, the dimples that would show always made her smile – pushing her eyes upwards into crescent shapes before slowly returning to their regular shape.

“So are you coming over later to watch some movies with me? Or would you rather go out and eat something?” She tilted her head and stared over at him, a smile still lingering across her lips before she brought the coffee up and took a cautious sip; allowing the overwhelming taste to take over her taste-buds. Her gaze was locked in on him, her hands bringing the cup down again to set on the table for a moment. “you should stay the night again~! it was so nice having you around.” She spoke truthfully, it always felt nice having him with her at home — arms wrapped around her to keep her safe from God knows what. It almost felt like they were a thing but really they weren’t; what were they? She was almost too scared to talk about it, to get into his mind and figure out what he thought about them. But then again she didn’t know how to go about it, and instead kept quiet and sipped from her cup hoping he would just come over so she could enjoy more time with him. 

He made her weak, just a glimpse of him caused her heart to drop — what kind of spell did he have over her? She immediately snapped back into reality and glanced down at her wrist that had a gold watch occupying it. “Mmm, it’s time for me to go ahead and go home.. should I expect you once you’re done here? I’ll definitely have food for when you come over later, if you do” She smiled brightly in his direction before leaning in and lightly pecking his forehead; it wasn’t anything more than friendly affection before she stood up straight and glanced over at him. “see ya soon~”
