“Normally, I’d agree – but running into you again, Sunshine, sounds pretty damn dreamy to me. Almost didn’t recognize you without the extensively goth cloak.” Red X curled his fingers around the lamp-post beside the young woman, keeping step with her. “If it weren’t for the signature recognition system in this fancy ass suit, I might have skipped right past ‘ya.”

While Raven clearly didn’t look the same outside of her Titans uniform and after a few years had passed them by, Red X would recognize the deadpan look in her eye anywhere. “Skipped town for a few years, but I’m back in action, babydoll. What brings you to this neck of the woods?” He mock whispered, gloved hand pointing to the less-than-stellar apartments around them.

Eli’s jaw twitched, irritation clear on his face. He grew so tired of New York, of the endless barrage of stupidity that came with it. It was still a step up from Hell, but that didn’t make it any less tiresome. How Robbie stood it, he had no idea. “Yes,” he said, dry and quiet, “you did. Was there a point, or did you just feel the need to be rude?”

The more Loki saw of the mortals with their ridiculous mobile devices, the more he wondered if Midgard was not regressing instead of advancing. The mortals of the past had been easy to trick, but he fancied these humans might be even more easily duped if one were to cause mischief with those devices. But somehow Loki was too annoyed by them to even want to bother. Especially when someone happened to be near him, chattering away irritatingly loudly about goodness only knew what. "By the Norns," he grumbled, then gave a quick wave of his hand. That made the person's phone suddenly cut off, and while they continued to yell at it for a bit, eventually they gave up and left. Pleased with his trick, Loki smiled smugly and remarked to a woman nearby, "It is a shame when those devices act up, is it not? If only humans were not so reliant upon technology that pales in comparison to the advances in other realms."
