but what if...

Serena keeps taking part in the Tripokalon... But every time she does, she doesn’t win... And she watches all of her rivals jump on ahead of her Then, at the end of the season,  She wins a Tripokalon And decides to set off on her own to keep participating, and training, until she becomes Kalos Queen...

... I was thinking about that earlier this week, and wanted to share it before XY079 aired...

... I know the episode has already aired now, and she probably won it, as many people have suspected.

But... I still want to stand by my ‘what if’... I think it would have really been interesting to see her keep losing... and growing... and eventually, achieving a well deserved victory.

It’s just that ... to me, it seems that she is more worried about losing, and it really seems like she’s taking it quite seriously. And I had wondered “what if she keeps losing, and needs to figure out on her own what she’s been doing wrong...?” So, for her last Tripokalon before this season ends, she brushes off her fear, has a fantastic time, and wins in the end. 

... at least, that’s how I would have thought about handling it. 

But I’m happy with how the writer’s have been handling things so far. So, even if she starts winning Tripokalons from here on out, I wouldn’t mind.

While today’s episode didn’t have any significant plot developments at all, it was just good old-fashioned fun, and I loved it! If there’s fillers to be had, can we get more like this please?
