I promise I didn't go off and become a turtle or anything I'm still alive and well. A lot of shit has been going on. I'm moving house in 3 days, so I've been packing. And work has been keeping me busy. Also I started a youtube channel for let's plays but that is TOP SECRET until about 2 weeks from now.

What what. Have an update on my life.

I got moved into my new apartment this past weekend. Took two and a half days but yeee we got it done. It's really nice here, but we still need to decorate. Also I finish training at Disney next week so that will be a thing I do. Also also I have been gone from the internet for over a week so it looks like I have some catching up to do. Okay bye.

Seriously though guys, I need to work on my demo reel. I need some higher quality things to put on it that isn't class related projects. So far everything in it is class projects and such, including game work, modeling, and animation. I think that right now it would be better to start some short things and take time perfecting them to put in. So I'm not going to touch up the stuff that I am going to replace. It would be better to start fresh on something that is all around higher quality, that I can take more of my own time working on. 

Ideally, what I would like to do is make two or three simple character models, rig them, and use them in my animations. As much as I am fine with using Maya Max, it is time to move on. I've got a few little character sheets I can share with you guys if you want to see them. 

Theeeeeen it is time to put them to motion. I'd like to gather some short audio clips to work with, but I'm not against getting written material and recording the audio myself or with other people. That's just about all there is on this topic as of now.

In other news, a couple of friends contacted me about doing a small collaboration. One of them is a writer and the other does a lot of camera work and the like. We are meeting up today to discuss a thing that might happen. I read through a book on matchmoving, and I'd like to try my hand at it, so we will try to incorporate some cgi into whatever we film, and it will be rad, trust me. But anyway, all of that is speculation until later on today.

Also if you want to, send me audio things to animate and I will do something with them maybe.

1. Who was your first kiss and what was it like?

My first kiss in the loosest sense was on a friend of mine's hand so yeah that doesn't count at all does it. My first legit like oh man full on those two are definitely kissing there is no mistaking it was with Heather. It was definitely surprising! Then the fi-- wait I've told that story before go find it somewhere.

2. Are you in a relationship? If so, are you happy?

I mean I could be slightly happier but all in all I couldn't be happier that makes perfect sense. I'll say I am because yeah.

3. Do you have a crush?

No, just a Sunkist, sorry. It was cheaper than Crush.

4. Who is your crush?

Orange soda. Not Grape Crush, I don't much like the aftertaste.

5. Are you a virgin?

Am I a virgin? IS GRASS BLUE? Except that was a complete misdirection no I am not.

6. What do you think of Valentine's Day?

It sure is a day. That's for sure. I used to always look forward to it as a kid. But it was always a big letdown for me. In fact, I'll tell you a story about one of my most memorable ones. 3rd grade. We all made boxes to put our valentine's day cards in that all of our classmates got each other. My box was so rad, too. So then we all put our boxes in the front of the room and got to deliver all of our cards to everyone. Then we got our boxes back and went to see all our sweet loot. I gave one to everyone, and super cool ones to my close friends. So I got back to my seat and ripped open my box. Then. I took out. The one card that was in there. From my friend Wade. That was it. Yay.. That's what I think of Valentine's Day.

7. Who is your Valentine?

AAAAAA I JUST ASKED AND SHE SAID YES. Heather is my Valentine <3 Like holy shit. This is going to sound so lame, but I've never even actually had a real Valentine. So like. I feel like a little kid again and jfaghdfskjas ;u;

8. Have you ever asked anyone out?

Yyyyyyyep. Though, not too many people have been given the pleasure of hearing those wonderful interrogatives slip from my mouth hole.

9. Who is your celebrity crush?

Funny enough, the number of this question. Christopher Eccleston. I mean HOT DAMN AM I STRAIGHT.

10. Has anyone ever asked you out and you turned them down?

Can't turn anyone down if you're never given the opportunity to .-.

11. Do you think anyone has a crush on you right now?

I have a tingling little suspicion about someone... I won't say names though.

12. What is your favorite thing to do on Valentine's Day?

Wait until the day after Valentine's Day so I can get chocolate for cheap as free. It's the closest thing to a 2x drop event in real life. /masterofqualityjokes

13. What's the best Valentine's Day that you've had so far?

It's close enough to this one right? This one.

14. What's your idea of a perfect date?

Hmm. Well I've only ever been on one real date. I've never really thought of the perfect perfect date. To be honest though, I think that the most fun times are when things do go quite as planned. So I would say the perfect date would be going to see a movie, getting some food, going to drive back home, and accidentally going the wrong way on the interstate and seeing where it takes us. One time Heather and I were driving somewhere and that happened to us 4 times in a row. It was hectic for a bit, but it was really fun. Just getting sort of lost with someone you love. It's a good feeling.

15. How do you know when you're in love?

Judging from what I've seen in all those cartoons, I suspect it's when little hearts appear above your head. That might just be hallucinating though. Which could be a sign of heat stroke. Which means I might be lost in the desert. So probably just go ahead and send help.

16. Have you ever loved someone on a romantic level?

What constitutes a "romantic level" you know what I am just gonna go ahead and say yes I have because yes I have.

17. Do you prefer more or less clingy relationships?

I am so freaking clingy sometimes a lot of times you have no idea. I enjoy clingyness. I mean, everyone needs chill time. But then you get to those moments where you are like. GUUUUHHHHH. And just. Velcro yourself to someone. Literally. No I haven't done that before are you crazy what kind of

18. Do you feel like you're loved on an everyday basis?

Lately I have been feeling like that yes. I didn't used to though. OTHER THAN BY MYSELF AWWWW YEEEAAhh....

Well I mean the one time any move ever happened it wasn't really me making the first impulse move. But then It was me making the second move so you know what first is the worst second is the best.

21. Do you feel like you're the dumpee or dumper most of the time?

I don't have a legit answer for this so I will say dumpee because I always feel dumped on.

22. What's your "type"?

I think I'm a Flying/Fire type. But I might be Flying/Psychic. I dunno, nobody has ever scanned me with a pokede- okay I will stop the joke now I apologize. I guess my type is really just someone that is kind of like me to an extent. Someone I could share a fruit roll-up with. That's all. /Jokes on you the fruit roll-up is all mine.

23. What are some of your favorite physical characteristics for your crush to have?

I don't much pay attention to physical characteristics. I like hair. And eyes. Eyes can be so pretty like woah. And uhh... Lungs? Those are important.

24. Are you a hopeless romantic?

I don't think so? I could easily tie this in with hope riding alone. So only with no hope can you be a romantic. But anyway moving on.

25. Do you think that you're a good kisser?

In my mind I am the greatest kisser in the world but in reality I'm probably like a funny analogy that I can't quite put together that relates to bad kissing.

26. What's the farthest that you've ever gone?

I took a flight to Europe once. That was pretty far. Also I honestly don't know what the ranking system is for farness. What is considered "all the way" these days?

27. Have you ever had a secret admirer?

Isn't this the same thing as a crush? Or is this like a crush but when you leave them little notes and gifts and such and wait for them to solve the puzzle of who they are from like they are Sherlock Holmes or something. Because if that is the case then no I have never had a secret admirer. I had a secret Santa once though. That went swimmingly thank you for asking.

28. Have you ever been someone's secret admirer?

NOPE. Can't say I've ever been someone's secret Santa either, or maybe they just forgot...

29. Do you have romantic fantasies? If so, what are they like and who is in them?

So there I am piloting an Arwing when Heather just appears and starts shooting at me so I'm like doing barrel rolls and everything but right when I think I got her we both crash somewhere in Kalimdor. so we are rummaging around trying to get back on our feet and Ryan Gosling shows up and we get in his car and drive to Taco Bell. The food was sub par but the service was great. Yeah that about sums it up.

30. What's something that always turns you on?

I guess I will answer this one without any silly shenanigans or anything.

I just got off the phone with my sister regarding a meeting with are having with another friend of ours about game dev stuff. That's all I am legally allowed to say on the matter. Not even lying.

We also talked about food.

C - How long it's been since I've kissed.

Two days. two loooong days. :C

D - If I have a preference for boys or girls.

Girls are nice. I like girls. I have a lot of girl friends. I mean. Not like. Girlfriend girl friends. Just. Lots of friends. That. Are girls. I mean, there are some cool dudes out there. I just. I don't swing that way. I mean. Oh, hang on. My phone is ringing. I really should take this call.

E - How many holes I have in my ears.

Uhh..... One in each. Just the hole that sound goes in.

I guess I'll just answer the example question. I prefer cold to hot. Probably because I have lived in South Florida my whole life. It's tough out there, people. There are only so many layers of clothing I can take off to keep cool before it's considered indecent.

I - The last time I felt jealous, and why.

Me and my friend Grant both bought packs of Magic cards. I really needed a Cathedral of War for my deck. He got that Cathedral of War. he still has it. That's why I'm an alcoholic.

Man, this one took me a while to answer. 20.

K- What my full name is.

Prisoner #01831690. That's what they called me. Not the best name. I would have preferred Jim or Dave. Or anything else, really.

L - If I have siblings.

Refer to aforementioned sister. That's all I got. She is pretty cool. Usually.

M - If I forgive betrayal.

I was playing New Super Mario Bros U with Heather, and She 100% purposefully jumping on my head to get to the platform making me fall to my death. In return she let me pick up the tanooki power up. Right before I grabbed it, she stole it from me and made me die again. I will never forgive her for that. Her laughter still echoes in the silence.

N - If you want to know how I treat my friends.

They are all butts. I like butts though so it all sort of works out in the end. Seriously though. My friends are all really great. We are all pretty chill towards each other.

O - If I like my school.

I really hate my university. Well, I hate the main campus. Luckily, us animation students have our own campus a good 30 minutes away. That place I love, it is a smaller, tight knit community of cool people. We only have like 3 professors, and they are all bros. Plus there is a bar right down the street in downtown Ft. Lauderdale and we head there with the profs every so often for drinks. It is a really great place. also it is getting torn down and relocated in 4 months /sobs everywhere.

P - What kind of music I like.

I'm content with most anything, and I'm always definitely open to new stuff. I mostly lean towards chiptune stuff these days, but still enjoy some indie things. Dubstep is a guilty pleasure, but I'm very selective. And now Heather is pulling me back into the poppy scene. Current playlists include Danimal Cannon, Stepdad, Protomen, Duane and BrandO, Sabrepulse, Knife Party, and others.

Q - What the last party I went to was, and when the next will be.

Very loose definition of a party, but the last shindig I was at I  thiiiiink would be Hex's birthday party at Scott's place. We mostly just chilled, talked about Nerdapalooza and future plans, ate Shawarma, then watched Robot Jox. That was a great night. The next will probably be a return to campus party with the professors and animation crew at Briney's pub. All the hype for that!

R - For me to tell 10 of my curiosities.

Maaaan, I do not even know. Like literally, I have been staring at this question for at least 10 minutes. I even skipped it and went to fill out the rest of these, then came back to it, and still had no idea what to say. This whole question is a goddamn curiosity. That sounded better in my head.

S - 2 habits.

I whistle a LOT. Like, I will not even realize I am doing it because I can whistle very subtly and in like 4 different ways. Heather will sit there and stare at me while I am doing it and I will be like FUDCKJS I WAS WHISTLING WASNT I.

Also I guess I air drum a lot, but it is mostly just bass pedals. But that one isn't nearly as interesting as the other so it doesn't get a whole paragraph.

T- 5 things I love unconditionally.

Not sure what to fill this with, to be honest. I should put family in here. They are great. So yeah, My sister, my mom, my dad, my grandpa. And chicken.

U - How many texts I send daily.

I used to text a lot, heather and I would send hundreds a day, and then however many I would send to everybody else. Now though, we don't text as much since we are always either skyping or hanging out irl, and I usually just call everyone else if I need to talk to them. I kind of miss having cool texting buddies though. :C

V - 3 big dreams.

Biggest dream, start up an animation or game studio. I don't want to have to fight my way into some big company out there. I'd much rather be able to make it on my own. Lesser dream, go through my plan to visit Japan for an extended period, be it work related or teaching or what have you. Little dream, prove the news wrong by winning the lottery and NOT squandering it all away.

W - An idol.

X - If I've done something I regret very much.

Not at all. at least, nothing I can remember. If I regretted it THAT much, I probably pushed it out of my mind and forgot it ever happened. If that is the case, I probably regret a lot of stuff and I just can't remember ANY of it. Hell, if THAT'S the case, I regret deciding that doing that would be a good idea in the first place.

Y - If I like my town and why.

Heeeey, I answered something like this one recently enough. I'll just reiterate what I remember and make up the rest of it. There are a LOT of cranky people here that drain a lot of life from things and make a lot of the town redundant. It is nice enough though. There are places to go and see people and do things without being judged too bad. Also there are dinosaurs here? I made one of those parts up.

Z - If you can be anywhere right now, where would you go?

This depends, are we talking TARDIS powers here? Can I go anywhere in time and space, or am I restricted to the confines of the known universe at the present perception of time? Assuming there is no wibbly wobbly timey wimey involved, I'll say that I really just want to visit like, an abandoned amusement park or something. I want to go somewhere really awesome but really creepy. Not haunted creepy, I've been there and done that. I much prefer that feeling you get from abandonment.

4: Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?

Uhh. I guess I would call it a big town. Typical suburb. Lot's of old people that came down from the Northeast. LOTS of old people. Too many. Not to sound mean or anything. They just literally flooded the streets and stores and restaurants and all over everywhere. My neighborhood was particularly bad because our street was one of 2 in the entire place that wasn't age 55+. There were 4 kids in our neighborhood, including me and my sister. So yeah it was pretty much get along with them or just sit in your room. and this was before the internet was really a thing so yeah.

10: Pirates or ninjas? Why?

Ninjas are overplayed, I'll go with pirates. They have cooler clothing. And ships. And hats. And booze.

29: Longest plane ride you've ever been on?

2008, I took a 9 hour flight to Germany which ended up being an 11 hour flight. After next year it will be however long a flight is to Japan.

Literally nothing. Why would you ask this.

I can juggle, which I guess is cool? I used to do routine type things with a friend of mine that now holds a Guinness world record.

I have a car and drive places. That is awesome in the eyes of someone who is 13 years old.

I speak fluent English a majority of the time. That is awesome to someone who really wants to learn English.

I can come up with pretty funny jokes that sound good in my head, but always come out sort of wrong. That would be really awesome for people that can read minds.

I can ride my bike with no handlebars.

For Heather. I knew one day I would meet her.

I originally made it a while back. My friend Crystal was talking about it so I made one and followed her. Only posted like 4 things, never reblogged anything. Then I quit for a long time, came back last October because a bunch of people from the Fanboys forum were talking about it (Stef, really), so I got back into it and yeah here I am now.

27: Fears?

Don't Blink Don't Blink Don't Blink Don't Blink Don't Blink. I have a fear of falling. I don't even know if that is what it is called but. It isn't a fear of heights. I am fine being up at high places, looking down over all the little baby men. It's when I can't tell where my feet are. I can be standing on a handrail 100 floors above the city looking down over everything and feel fine. But the moment I look up oh God I'm gonna fall I guess this is as good a time as any to learn how to fly.

Or maybe that is what a fear of heights is and my fear is just selective.

36: Favorite food?

I really enjoy chicken. Pasta is also really good. Rice is delicious. Also if it is spicy I'll probably eat it. But oh man I really enjoy a good burger every now and again. So yeah just put all that in a blender and shove it down my gullet.
