thanks for the info! and i'm not in uni yet, might go in a few years hopefully. Also as far as I know we've never had health plans as a family so idk. I saw something about how if i start a health insurance plan and already have prescription they won't pay for it, do you know if that's true?
They don’t like covering pre-existing conditions, which is BS because almost everything is pre-existing. It might be best to talk to an insurance broker and ask them for help figuring it out.
Also, Costco is often cheaper for getting prescriptions filled and you don’t need to have a membership to do prescriptions there, and apparently Wal-Mart is also cheaper for prescriptions (I’ve only done a couple of things there and our coverage is really good so I don’t actually know first-hand).
