today marks #stonewall50, the uprising that sparked a global push for the lgbtq community. #onthisday in 1969, trans people, lesbians, gay men and bisexuals stood up and resisted police violence at the stonewall inn. 50 years later, the fight for lgbtq justice and equality continues across the world. stonewall never ended. today i celebrate this day with some beautiful spirits and dancers, commemorating this eventful day. words cannot express how special this shoot was. happy pride 🏳️🌈💕✨🌈☀️❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

today we commemorate, today we remember, today we honor. 50 years ago, on june 28th 1969, a revolution at nyc’s stonewall inn jumpstarted a movement of liberation. one of the strongest steps forward towards the fight for equal rights. since that day, much has been achieved. many battles have been won. yet we still have ways to go. let’s celebrate today ignited by a fire to keep on resisting, pushing forward and gaining ground.
i strongly hope however, that someday the fight comes to an end. that we can finally find each other as equals. respecting and lifting each other every single day. enriched by our differences and not divided.
