A note is slipped under your door that simply says "i'm sorry." It's written in a gold glitter pen that's clearly running out of ink.

Momo bends down to pick up the note, her fingers brushing against the textured glitter of the gold pen. She holds it carefully between her thumb and forefinger, her eyes narrowing slightly as she studies it. The glitter is uneven, faint in some places, and she can tell immediately that the pen is running out of ink. That detail makes her pause, she knows that handwriting well.
She walks over to her desk and sits down, placing the note in front of her, turning it this way and that as though examining a small puzzle. Gold glitter pen… very flamboyant… definitely Yuga’s handwriting, she thinks, a small crease forming between her brows. But… why would he apologize like this? Especially now, after everything that happened. Everyone knows what he did.
Her fingers trace the edges of the paper almost unconsciously, and her mind begins to wander through the possibilities. Was this some twisted attempt at reconciliation? Or something else entirely? I can’t tell from this note alone… she murmurs under her breath.
Yaoyorozu leans back in her chair, staring at the ceiling for a moment as she lets her thoughts settle. He always dramatizes things… but there’s sincerity in his glitter, isn’t there? Ridiculous as it is… he really wants me to see this, to acknowledge it.
Her lips press together thoughtfully, and she finally exhales, folding the note carefully and placing it back on the desk. I should wait, observe… and see if he tries to explain. Confrontation might be premature. She smooths the edge of the note with her fingers one last time, a quiet, conflicted weight settling in her chest as she wonders just what exactly he’s sorry for, now that the aftermath of his actions is already so public.
