My heart is broken for Adam and Jessa! How do you think it could be fixed on fanfic?

Adam needs to show Jessa she isn’t his second option or his consolation prize, because that’s the vibes the shit LD did on the show felt like. She ruined a perfectly made arc with these characters with her season 5 final, her lack of understanding that no one stole no one’s boyfriend, and that not everything is about her character.

In fanfiction, they would need to move on from Hannah and find a way to live their lives without the shadow of her horror around them. He has to prove himself to her and to him, because boy if he was weak and a complete idiot, and he doesn’t deserve Jessa in the way we left things with them.

Even if she has forgiving him, there is something so wrong with it he realizes by the time his smile fades away, and if he truly loves her like I think he does, he will work his ass off until he is truly forgiven and he has shown his choice and feelings are real and not based on an illusion that couldn’t work out.

aaaand shane flicking ryan off out camera and ryan laughing about it it’s a summary of their entire relationship
