“ thanks ... for the ice pack , i mean . ” he hadn’t been expecting the other’s help , not when considering the almost bitter nature of their team's rivalry . in fact , he didn’t even know the girl’s name , let alone anything else about her aside from the obvious fact that she was one of karasuno’s managers and that she was clearly very kind . he’d stupidly taken a harsh dive for a receive , silently hoping no one had noticed the way his jaw made direct contact with the floor as he’d gotten up to brush it off . but even now ― with the hastily made ice pack pressed against his face ― he could feel it throbbing , and he couldn’t deny he was secretly thankful she'd been paying attention . / @yacchanx
