the last week has been EXHAUSTING and i’m p sure at some point i must have died and this is hell ??  (  literally ,  it’s hot asf over here  )  but i’ll be here to knock out some drafts soon ;  like ,  tomorrow soon .  or tonight ,  if i can manage once i’m off .

“ thanks ...  for the ice pack ,  i mean . ”  he hadn’t been expecting the other’s help ,  not when considering the almost bitter nature of their team's rivalry .  in fact ,  he didn’t even know the girl’s name ,  let alone anything else about her aside from the obvious fact that she was one of karasuno’s managers and that she was clearly very kind .  he’d stupidly taken a harsh dive for a receive ,  silently hoping no one had noticed the way his jaw made direct contact with the floor as he’d gotten up to brush it off .  but even now ―  with the hastily made ice pack pressed against his face ―  he could feel it throbbing ,  and he couldn’t deny he was secretly thankful she'd been paying attention .   /   @yacchanx​

“ so my choices are to either be a baby ,  or let some LUNATIC with a needle poke a hole in my nostril ? ”  a dead eyed stare is directed at the other as if he were an idiot ,  which he very much is ,  “ i think i’ll take my chances as a baby ,  thanks . ”  his gaze drops to the needle held within terushima’s grasp ,  undeniable curiosity filling him for a moment before he turns his face away dismissively .  although ...  maybe a having his nose pierced wouldn’t be such a bad look after all ...

“ how can you deal with that ?  and here i thought oikawa was bad ― ”  staring at the energetic ace of fukurodani ,  he was slowly starting to feel as if his own energy was being sapped away .  as stoic as their setter was ,  he seemed to have an IMPRESSIVE amount of patience .  either it was an act  ( which would honestly be no less awe inspiring ) ,  or his unrelenting resolve was truly to be commended .  /  @prsonatm​

his eyes widen for a moment when he notices the setter suddenly turning in his direction ,  averting his gaze entirely as he starts to walk towards him .  the hell ?  had he been able to feel the weight of kunimi’s stare ?  his eyebrows knit at the quiet tone of the other’s voice as he spoke up ;  confused ,  conflicted ,  and totally unsure of his motive .  glancing back at his team for help ―  some sort of escape from this troublesome situation , maybe ―  he was met by a crowd of busy faces paying the two no mind .  “ you have five minutes . ”  turning back towards him with a somewhat troubled look ,  he lifted his chin defiantly before brushing past him towards the gymnasium doors .

dull brown eyes land on the king of the court ,  taking in tense shoulders and the trademark sour look he’s always wore .  just by looking ,  he’d assume nothing’s changed ...  but he knows better .  whether the other has noticed ( or even cares ) ,  he can’t be sure .  it almost makes him JEALOUS ,  seeing an old friend move on without a second thought .  /  @crowconquer​
