Thoughts that I've Lacked - Hitoka Yacchi

Yacchi ,since her first appearance in chapter 73, has always been an important part of the story as a spectator and as a (nervous and anxious mess of a ) support system. She has many scenes throughout the manga showing her growth as a character but this isn't one of those. This is Yacchi reflecting on her development which is something very relatable to me (and hopefully to some of you)

This takes us back to Ch.75, around the time she joined Karasuno VBC . Till then , she had been this studious, talented , but shy , anxious person (i didn't mean to make it sound like it's a bad thing) who wasn't really passionate about anything.

For some of you this would not make any sense. Like it didn't make any sense for Hinata or Kageyama.

Up until then , Yacchi had no idea that the desire to win comes naturally without any reason and what it means to be passionate about something, to have that urge to improve and to do better.

which ultimately she understands.

Later in the second set of Karasuno Vs Nekoma (Ch.306) match , she is visibly upset that Karasuno lost their first set against Nekoma.

But Bokuto comes in to reassure her with "the overwhelming passion" he has for Volleyball which makes her think of the interaction in Ch. 75

🏐Hitoka Yacchi knows that she had been lacking that hunger , that passion, but now she understands it. Of course, it hurts that she didn't knew that until recently, but that's okay. It's a good pain 🏐
