And so, inevitably, we arrive at the day of Aunt P’s Spring Barbecue. Because Jack meeting Phryne’s cousin Guy has to happen sometime...

Blimey! At some point in the last 48 hours, You Are Cordially Invited has gone past 10,000 hits on AO3. That feels like quite an achievement for what was, at the point when it was first published, quite different from a lot of other fic which had been posted (albeit it's still phrack trying to figure out what they are to each other and what else they might want to be). So thanks for reading. My pace of writing has really slowed down this year, as my entirely free diary has quickly filled up with a whole series of interesting experiences. But, as I keep on saying, there are more chapters and parts planned in the saga. And since I started writing, we've had season 3, which gives me a load of other cases to update - I hope you'll love what I'm planning on doing with Game, Set and Murder, and I have a load of other 'Original' bits which I've long had planned and which I hope are in the spirit of 1929 Phrack. So yeah, thanks for reading, it really does mean a lot to see your comments and kudos and the increasing hitcount!
When you’re uploading YACI to your trial Windows version of Scrivener, and aren’t quite sure what keywords you’ll want to search by in the future, so just tag *everything*...
A fast car. A race track. A Robinson family gathering. Surely, the world would not be so cruel as to make Jack’s day even worse than it already is...

After months of me promising, here we are - the YACI!-verse update of ‘Blood at the Wheel’...
For anyone who remembers the *insanity* of me real-time-ficcing YACI! Jack and Phryne watching Eurovision last year....
Yaci!Jack is up right now, because his [SPOILER] is crying...
Who else but the Fug Girls could write this?
Oh my...
But what if Jack had acted as he'd really wanted to in First Class?
An AU of the AU!
When I first wrote the bit of YACI where Phryne lands back in Melbourne, and Jack manages to get onto the plane to warn her about the paparazzi, I had always wanted to have ‘The Great Big Hollywood Kiss’ moment, but then I realised that Phryne’s first thoughts on seeing Jack in uniform would tend towards ‘oh god, something awful has happened to Jane’, which is why the published version reads as it does.
But now that I have this ‘bonus material’ series, I thought I’d resurrect what *might* have happened. And so I present, written on an actual plane (economy class, mores the pity), a scene of, hopefully, immense fluff...
