Alright…. I kinda have a problem with properly following these prompts :P I just really wanted to write this one ^^
Mina AU - where the Herald of Andraste is my best friend’s OC, Minaresca, and Yael is a noble who was at the Conclave. This is her letter to her brother.
Dear Brother,
I have searched for words for a long time now, but there is no perfectway to say this. I can’t be sure if this letter reaches you before youhear the tragic news about the Conclave. The Temple of Sacred Ashes isno more, it was ripped apart by foul magic as was the sky above us. Iwas unfortunate enough the witness the explosion. It was my task tobring home Bryce safely, know that he won’t be returning. I have lookedfor him in the ruins, the soldiers and scouts of the Inquisition couldbarely identify any of the victims. There is no evidence that he diedat the Conclave, and while I don’t give up all hope just yet, it isvery unlikely that he survived.
I am not returning yet either. I’m unable to judge this Inquisitionyet, but this place has suffered a great disaster. People don’t knowwho to blame, so everyone is blaming their own enemies. There is ayoung mage girl whom the people call the “Herald of Andraste”. She hasa way to close the Rifts and she managed to stabilize the Breach andkeep it from spreading even further. I don’t know if they are rightabout her, but for all of our sakes, I want to believe that she wassent by the Maker.
I have already accepted Commander Cullen Rutherford’s offer to trainInquisition recruits. Some of these men don’t even know how to properlyhold a sword. I can help this Inquisition. They want to close theBreach, for good this time, and I can give them soldiers who will standagainst this army of demons.
