thurs: lunch from num pang. more unit tests
fri: lunch at yaffa cafe. got the canadian omelette again. went home, did this week's progfun assignment. was incredibly easy except it took me a while to figure out the one-liner solution to the implementation for map (considered doing it with a loop of some sort but then realized it was completely unnecessary)
sat: fixed up the assignment, submitted it (10), rewrote it in haskell and from that I was able to realize a whole lot of other relationships that weren't immediately apparent when I was solving it with scala (e.g. stuff about contains, singletonSet, and filter). also tried using quickcheck for testing and wow it's really simple to use.
